Carruthers Peak

Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales, Australia

I captured this black and white image of Carruthers Peak with mid winter snow drifts lining the water course down its slopes.

Carruthers Peak (2145m), located in the Snowy Mountains, is the ninth highest mountain in Australia. It was named after NSW Premier Joseph Carruthers, who facilitated the building of the Summit Road to the nearby Mount Kosciuszko.
