The World Heritage-listed Daintree National Park is a pristine region. It is a wilderness dream of lush tropical rainforests, deserted white beaches, sleepy rivers and breathtaking natural beauty preserved for future generations. Throught the park, easily accesible and breathtaking rainforest walks are available.
Standing to take this photograph of one of these walking tracks amongst the lush green rainforest, I could hear nearby the crystal-clear Mossman river cascading over the granite boulders. It's simple moments like these that I enjoy capturing the most and underscore why it is so vital to protect areas like this.
