The Bay of Islands Coastal Park has spectacular ocean views and many other memorable features. It protects a variety of rare and threatened flora and fauna species in its coastal heathland environment. The park includes a number small bays, such as Crofts Bay, offering magnificent views and secluded beaches.
On what was a stormy winters day, here I captured the setting sun's last rays breaking through the cloud to illuminate the far cliffs, adding warmth to an otherwise windy and wet day.
