The Story Bridge is one of Brisbane's most treasured and recognisable landmarks. The bridge is 1.3 kilometres long and reaches 77 metres at its highest point. The Story Bridge is the largest steel bridge designed, fabricated and constructed in Australia by Australians.
On this summer morning as the sun rose I was fortunate to capture the early light casting its pink hue across the Brisbane CBD while the lights of Story Bridge still highlighted its imposing steel structure.
