In this photograph a formation of four F/A-18s flown by some of my former colleagues, from the Royal Australian Air Force's number 3 Squadron, break formation.
The Royal Australian Air Force is the second-oldest air force in the world and it's F/A-18 Hornets form the backbone of its air combat capability. The F/A-18 Hornet is a multi-role fighter designed for both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions.
