About Scott Leggo
Scott Leggo is an International award winning Australian landscape photographer. He is driven by a passion for travel and the outdoor adventure of getting to great locations to photograph the stunning beauty of nature. Since pursuing photography after a career as an officer in the Royal Australian Air Force, Scott has quickly become respected for his photographic talents, winning many awards along the way. In a short period of time he has rapidly grown his photography business and reputation amongst his clients, having emerged as one of Australia’s leading landscape photographers.
Scott travels extensively, driven by an unending determination to photograph stunning images of the world you live and to bring the beauty that he sees into homes and offices the world over. With a strong spirit of adventure, Scott is always looking to go the extra mile to capture the shot he is after. His landscape photographs are often the result of his patient pursuit to capture unique scenes and moments that sustain his love of wilderness. Whether it be on a freezing mountaintop in a snow storm or in the depths of a tropical rainforest, as a landscape photographer Scott always looks to immerse himself in the environment he shoots, in turn capturing the true heart and soul of a location which is evident in all his images. In addition to Scott’s love of the outdoors, adventure and travel, Scott’s lifelong interest and involvement in various aspects of international civil and military aviation has enabled Scott to concurrently direct this enthusiasm to aviation photography. Scott has won over 70 awards in International and Australian competitions, was recently awarded the 2011 Epson ACT Professional Photographer of the Year, and was a finalist in the 2011 International Loupe Awards. Scott is a fully accredited member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) and has reached the level of Associate.
